Julien Day Schools Shine in Times School Survey 2026

The Times School Survey 2026 has brought a proud moment for the entire Julien Day family, with all four Julien Day Schools recognised among the leading schools of West Bengal.
The results reflect a shared commitment to education across four campuses:
Julien Day School, Howrah — Ranked No. 1 among ICSE schools in Howrah
Julien Day School, Kolkata — Ranked No. 2 among ICSE schools in South Kolkata
Julien Day School, Ganganagar — Ranked No. 2 among ICSE schools in North 24 Parganas
Julien Day School, Kalyani — Ranked No. 2 among schools in Nadia
Adding to this achievement, all four branches have also secured positions among the Top 30 Schools in West Bengal in the survey.

For an institution whose educational journey began more than five decades ago, these recognitions are more than positions on a list. They are milestones in a continuing story.
More Than a Ranking
While these rankings are certainly worth celebrating, they represent something much larger than numbers on a list.
Behind every recognition are students who work hard, teachers who encourage them to go further, Principals and staff who continually strive to improve the learning environment, and parents who place their trust in the school.
Together, they form the Julien Day community.
For more than five decades, Julien Day Schools have sought to provide an education that extends beyond examinations. Alongside academic learning, students are encouraged to explore sports, culture, creativity, leadership and experiences that help build confidence and character.
This year’s recognition is therefore not simply about where our schools have been ranked. It is a celebration of the people who make our schools what they are.
A Legacy That Continues
The recognition comes at a meaningful time for the Group. The Times School Survey edition also featured the story “From a Vision to a Legacy: The Julien Day Journey,” tracing the institution from the establishment of its first school in Kolkata in 1969 to a family of four schools today.

More than fifty years later, that original vision continues to evolve.
We congratulate our students, teachers, Principals, staff, parents and alumni across all four branches. This achievement belongs to every member of the Julien Day family.
The rankings give us a reason to celebrate and an even greater reason to keep moving forward.
Four schools. One legacy. And a journey that continues.
