Welcome to Julien Day School! A School that seeks to provide excellent education to all its students. Our distinctive aim is to provide world-class education. Hence our Endeavour is to create a high-quality learning environment that is innovative, challenging and enterprising. We also ensure that the literary and cultural facilities are blended into every student’s academic life, while a strong emphasis is laid on discipline.
The Julien Educational trust, a private organisation of reputed people of the Anglo-Indian community, has successfully established and is running four branches of Julien Day School, at Kolkatta, Ganganagar, Kalyani and Howrah. The Julien Day School are an English medium, co-educational school and embraces students from the Anglo-Indian and Christian communities. It was founded by late Mrs Grace Julien, an eminent teacher of her time governed by the board of trustees of Julien Educational Trust. Provision is also made for the admission of non-Christian children from all walks of life and a variety of different backgrounds. We work in close partnership with students to develop their full and individual potential for life and work.
The Julien Day School at Kolkata was established in 1969, Ganganagar in 1976, Kalyani in 1988 and Howrah in 2007 are affiliated to the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations with I.C.S.E at the class X level and I.S.C at the class XII level comprising three streams – Science, Commerce and Humanities

Our students are nurtured in a manner that they can excel not only in academics, sports and cultural co-curricular but also grow as good human beings. Under the able guidance and supervision of our trained teaching staff, a sound learning and value system is created for our students.
Our focus is to stimulate the development of every aspect of the child’s personality - physical, intellectual, emotional, logical and spiritual. We consider it our prime responsibility to make sure that each and every student gets the support that is needed in order for them to soar high and achieve their desired goals in life.

Chairman's Message
For the past 50 years Julien Day School. Has been serving the cause of higher secondary education in the city of Kolkata. We are an institute that follows international pedagogical practices for the betterment of our learners. Our mission is to develop capable and decent students who are able to boldly tackle academic, social as well as emotional challenges that come their way. We are proud to say that our children have excelled in several professions. From nurturing engineers, doctors, film makers, writers to teachers, IT professionals and musicians – we have taught them all.
As we celebrate our Golden Jubilee, we are happy to be part of the success stories of our children both past and present. A dedicated team of professional and trained teaching staff work tirelessly to make sure that the teaching –learning practices meet the best global standards. Audio –visual learning, kinaesthetic learning , active learning as well as real time experience of things are some to the tools used in our schools. For the new age parent Julien Day School has thus emerged as the perfect choice for educating the millennial learners.
