Julien Day School, Howrah hosted a children’s health awareness for the students and parents from nursery to class I on the 22nd of September, 2022. The speaker of the day was Dr Indu Surana, a consultant pediatrician and neonatologist at Narayana Multi-specialty Hospital and Shree Jain Hospital and Research Centre. She is currently the President of the Howrah Academy of Paediatrics, and the Trainer of Early Childhood Development Program, IAP. She holds a host of other important positions where she continuously helps keep our children safe and healthy. Mrs Sharmila Broughton graced us with her presence and a question-answer session followed the awareness presentation. The day ended with refreshments being provided to our guests.
The experience was rewarding in so many ways as the attendees learned a number of things from an excellent doctor who is impressive in her field and a warm person at heart.
The parents were present in large numbers, participated actively throughout the session and were highly appreciative of the initiative taken up by the school to provide proper health awareness.
