JDS takes second place in throwball at the Netaji Subhash State Games 2022

The 8th Netaji Subhash Games 2022 was hosted by MAKAUT, WB in association with the Bengal Olympic Association 2022.The Games were held from May 13 -16, 2022 at the Haringhata Campus of the University. Our school participated in the Throwball Tournament for Girls. They were coached and accompanied by Mr. Bipad Satapathy, the Games teacher. Under his guidance and training, our girls worked effortlessly in striving for not just personal excellency but to maximize the opportunity to bring success for the school.

In the words of the great Michael Jordan "It doesn't matter if you win or lose as long as you give everything in your heart."

They displayed courage, dedication and sheer hard work on the field. Their motivation encouraged them to exhibit their best and to perform well. They stepped onto the field with the right mindset that success and failure cannot be measured by wins and losses.

Julien Day School deeply imbibes in every athlete to be a good sportsman first and then a winner. As always the girls have added a feather to our hat and made our school proud by contributing to the Nadia District Team in winning the Runners up trophy.

Congratulations to our students and coach from the management and the entire JDS family. Let us keep the school flag flying high.
